Who we are

Fifthhammond Septic is a referral service. We help homeowners with septic or sewer trouble find independent local providers. That is all we do. We keep the steps short and the words plain.

Why we exist

Septic and sewer problems rarely show up at a good time. Most families are already juggling work, school and errands. Searching for a provider on top of that is a chore. We built this service to cut that chore down.

We focus on busy households. Plan around your day. Ask for a visit time that fits, and providers will tell you what they can do.

How providers are matched

You tell us what is happening and where you live. We point your request to a provider in our network that serves your area. Availability varies, so we do not promise a time. Many providers can respond quickly, but it depends on the day and the job.

What we expect from providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

  • Explain the problem in simple words
  • Give a written quote before work starts
  • Respect your time and your home
  • Hold the licenses their state or county requires

You should still confirm license and insurance details yourself. Ask the provider directly.

Get your records ready

Photos speed estimates. So do short notes. Write down when the problem began and what you noticed. Gather past pumping or repair records if you have them. A clear file helps a provider quote the job. It can also help you stay organized if you talk with your insurer. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

What we do not do

  • We do not pump, repair, dig or install anything.
  • We do not set prices. Providers do.
  • We do not decide if your claim is covered.

Providers do the work. Your agreement is with the provider.

How we are paid

Homeowners do not pay us to make a request. Providers in the network may pay for the referrals they receive. That does not change your right to compare quotes. Get a written quote and ask questions before you say yes.
